Celery Man + Cowspiracy

I can't begin to tell you or anyone for that matter how tired I am of listening to my playlist on Spotify. Somehow all of these sounds and latest remixes don't seem to catch my attention anymore. Since then, I reactivated my account on Sound Cloud, not that I deleted it but damn. It's so good. I am especially inspired by this YouTuber named Kicki Yang. She is the definition of cool. She has all these talents and beauty from within. Not only that, but also not having a care in the world of what people think of her. That's really cool to me because I find it hard not to give a shit. Heh, she is vegan as well. From last year about the end of July, up till now, I haven't really accomplished or even maintained a perfect plant based diet. People from YouTube have taught me so much especially on veganism, how to cook it and lots of designing to be discovered. And that keeps me kinda motivated.

In fact, Essena O' Neil, was the person who inspired me to go vegan. She was the main reason why I chose to transition however, she chose to go on her own, disappearing from social media and deleting her following accounts. I really don't know how she is doing right now but ,wow, I have finally watched the documentary "Cowspiracy" which shows us about our environment and ecosystem. Basically, a discovery by this particular person who was so determined to find out on why the Earth was so depleted and dying and why no one was doing anything bout it. He especially found that many organizations were not as supportive of his research because when he had interviewed them, none of them gave him the answer he was looking for. In short, the leading and main cause of greenhouse gases is due to agriculture. To be honest, it would be a whole lot better if you could give yourself some time to watch this informative documentary. Totally worth your time I would say.

Pink Tint

I think there are certain standards that we should set for ourselves. We evolve around trends. Instagram isn't really important but I feel like using a pink tint/hue every time I upload a picture. It's kinda fun. Lol. Just got back home from dinner with my fam. It has been a pretty good week? Done alot of things that I wanted to and finally got back to my exercise routine. I gotta admit, it's so much tougher now since I have been out of practice and training. Baked vegan cinnamon rolls and a chocolate cake! Both approved by my family so yea, I don't think anyone else otherwise could taste the difference between a baked good with dairy products and one without. Lately, I have been lazing and chilling around the house alot, watching YouTube videos, movies and reading PDF books online. Listening to music, writing and downloading music? I would say I have gotten real lazy at blogging. So much for my to do list. Sometimes, it's best to keep your thoughts to yourself. Leave a little mystery somehow? This is the reason why I don't get some girls who post TMI online. But I seriously dgaf. Happy days ahead to all of you!

Sick

I think I needed this view. Even though I'm so ill right now. I have been sick for the past three days? Down with a terrible sore throat and sinus. Now a cough came up today, thankfully I have medicine at home thanks to my mom. Herbal tea and lots of water to hydrate myself too. I can't remember the last time I got sick but yea, I'm glad it's during my semester break. Here I am talking and ranting. My first semester results will be out tomorrow oh my. If I'm being really honest I'm worried bout two subjects. Mainly stats and human nutrition. Just thinking bout it makes me want to put a fist into my mouth.

This semester break has been quite alright. I recall very clearly. Right after my exams, went shopping with Jess at Sunway Pyramid and I just flew to Krabi, Thailand. Then, got back here, safe and sound. Attended a farewell party for my dear friend Des :'( I really hope to see her soon. It just feels so damn different when you're talking bullcrap with different people. What the hell right. I don't know. Maybe it's just me that's changing. Forget that. Don't know how I got the energy but yesterday I went shopping with my mom at Sunway Pyramid, even though I was just there with my friend, I bought so much stuff. Mainly it's all tops, but thank goodness. I really didn't have anything to wear. This means I would have to throw/donate my other stuff out. I don't mind because it will be in a better place with a more appreciative owner.

Honestly speaking, I felt a lot of things that has happened around me. Or maybe it's my feelings that have changed. I have to thank this someone who made me hope again. I really don't want to overthink so much bout this even though I know the truth. It's hard to accept it. And I'm not ready to. However, thank you. Maybe it's about time, to.

All Days +

This trip basically was more on to the chill side as my family and I have traveled to many previously. Went to the beaches, snorkeled, build sandcastles and all those fun stuff. I miss going on those kind of adventure trekking feels like the "flying fox" and uhm bungee jumping? I just really like to be adventurous and to be able to try new things. Talking bout chill, my bro and I went to get a massage while my family went to get their hair done or something like that. Since it took them some time, we stopped by this cafe to get a drink. Main purpose was to get internet connection cuz without it, we would be lost lol. I got their signature frappe which was so freaking sweet. Bruh got an americano, cold and sour. Sour. Not bitter.

Much later that day, we had the most luxurious seafood platter lol. I think that night our stomachs were gonna explode. No regrets. Thank God I had a brother and sister to finish this lol.

Following back on my previous post, I made it to the top!!!! With my dad! Hehehehhe.

It was the last day of my stay here, so my sibs and I went to beach to catch the sunset. It was really calming and sweet. Pictures taken with my phone Xperia Z5. That is all. There is actually so much more to the pictures here but I got lazy. Some things are best kept to yourself.

Day 1: Krabi Resort, Jungle Kitchen, Tiger Cave Temple & Night Market

I have really missed writing down my travels, big or small. Basically everything. I would have to make up to do a super late post on my birthday even though a lot of me has changed. I still think about it every single day, so yeah, I actually freaking care. Just got back home yesterday at bout 6:15PM. Ever since this trip, I have been consuming meat and dairy products. Sigh. Really need to start planning everything out. Recently been inspired by this YouTuber "Kalel" on how she manages her lifestyle. It was minimalist. More to that, she has two pet cats and a lovely apartment. Gotta work for the things we want in life, and we all crave the things we can't have. Okay, moving on, to flying there. It only took an hour and a half? To me, it was super fast. Checked in to the hotel and here is the first picture of the view from outside my room.

It looks really lovely and all "Hobbit-like"

Once we checked in the hotel, my family and I couldn't wait to explore the city. But my dad, first, had to make some suits and tailor-made formal shirts for work at this well-known tailor shop "BOSS Tailor" and I was kinda impressed? The service and product was well. A lil while after that, we had lunch at a recommended restaurant not too far from the tailors called "Jungle Kitchen." Look at that fish man, with some lemon ginger sauce? Excellent. Reasonably priced at that too!

If you would like to travel around Krabi, it would be highly recommended to rent a car. It's so convenient where you don't have to wait for a cab and wouldn't have to worry bout not being able to get around. Not to forget, you would save money as well. So yeah, we rented a car and drove on the road for at least 30 minutes just to get to our destination, which is the Tiger Cave Temple. An absolutely beautiful place to be. Many tourists from all over the world flock here.

All these pictures here were taken with a GoPro4! Enjoy! :)

 My parents, heh

I actually attempted to walk the 1237 steps of the Tiger Cave Temple, but miserably failed and stopped at the 520th step because I was unprepared. Alone as well cuz my family were too fatigued? And there's another story to that as well. After the visit to this temple, my family and I headed to the night market which took quite some time from our hotel but nevertheless, food there was great! It was completely packed and trying to get a table there is so difficult lol. That is all for my first day there. Thus, this is the first post! My Chinese New Year was pretty great in Krabi, Thailand.

Just this once.

OOTD lel
I just prepared myself for bed but since I have the mood to blog here I am! I was kinda down just now but it is better now. Sweating like mad even though the A.C is switched on. Before that, I think I am well prepared for genetics. Don't even need to mention bout EHS lol. Finished the formative and revising my lecture notes but I have yet one more day to prepare! These past few days, basically two days, I have been going to cafes to study. Let's just say it was productive. Took some pictures because a post would be boring without one.

My hair length is kinda long for me and it's dyed really unevenly. However, it is only visible under direct sunlight, no shit. So I am gonna have to trim my hair. I heard that it's not good to keep your hair long cuz it would weigh it down and maybe cause some hair loss? I don't know. I am also considering to go all black, ash black, or dark brown or dark ash brown. Something darker of course. What is darker than black. Nothing. Whatever. I hope I can do it before my break. Soon I would have to head to bed now.

Saturday: Went out a lil late cuz I had to drop my brother off at bean brothers then only head for my appointment which isn't too far from my area. After that, headed straight to Artisan Coffee cuz Ceymone recommended the vegan muffin which was really good man. Looking forward to my coming semester break so that I can brush up on my vegan finds, I truly miss it. The last thing I baked was probably those plain sugar biscuits with almond nibs on top! I had the iced vegan latte as well, basically they substitute the regular milk with soy milk. I would have to say it is pretty bitter and strong. I really didn't mind but I honestly couldn't taste the difference. But man, that latte made so freaking diuretic. TMI. Meh. This Artisan Coffee branch is the one is TTDI by the way.
